Entry Information

All entries (Open, 4-H & FFA) will done online through FairEntry.

Entries can be entered from June 1st to July 1st. Please use the link below to create an account & submit entries online. Please refer to the fair book for correct divisions & classes. If you have questions about the process, please give us a call at 515-961-6687 during regular business hours for assistance. Payments can be made online via credit card or you may pay cash or check. Payments must be received or postmarked by July 1st.

Scholarship Information

The Warren County Agricultural Association is excited to offer several scholarships to help students cover some of the costs associated with pursuing a college degree. The scholarship may be submitted using the PDF below. Applications are due April 1. Refer to the scholarship application for more details.

South Central Iowa Showdown

Location: Lucas County Fairgrounds - Date:July 28th 5 PM

Warren County has been invited to send the following animals to the South Central Iowa Showdown (SCIS): Grand Champion Market Steer, Supreme Champion Heifer, Grand Champion Market Lamb, Supreme Champion Market Lamb, Grand Champion Market Goat, Grand Champion Breeding Doe, Grand Champion Breeding Gilt and Grand Champion Market Hog. Participation is optional.

If the Grand or Supreme animal chooses not to participate, Reserve will be asked. It is an Open Show NOT a 4H or FFA Show. The champions of each species will be given a packet of information from the fair office if they choose to participate. Livestock participating will be released by each division superintendent chairman or their appointed representative at noon on Sunday. Only the animal(s) eligible to show at the SCIS will be allowed to leave the fairgrounds.

More information will be given to the families that qualify. If the exhibitor leaves the grounds at noon and does not show at the SCIS, the exhibitor will be ineligible to show at the next year’s fair.
