Warren County Fair is happy to announce that Medieval Jousting will be returning to the fair on Thursday, July 26! The grandstand is excited to host a medieval jousting tournament with the nationally-known Knights of Valour. If you missed this last year…you must see it this year!
From the producers of The History Channel’s “Full Metal Jousting,” come the Knights of Valour – the most extreme sport of jousting live. Trained professionals ride beautiful Draft horses, competing for audiences across North America. Each pass of rider and horse is excitement exploding before your eyes. It is truly full-contact jousting – there’s no scripts, choreography or airbags. Choose your favorite knight and cheer them on to victory as this extreme sport continues to grow.
“This is
one event you won’t want to miss this summer,” said Fair Manager Jo Reynolds.
“It’s an event packed with history and entertainment for all ages.” She equates
it to a "demolition derby on horses." Six to eight knights will joust
in the tournament, all decked out in full armor.
VIP Medieval Feast
Jousting
isn’t the only new item on the docket for Thursday evening. In addition to general
admission tickets, for the first time, the Warren County Fair is offering a
limited number of VIP tickets. Each VIP ticket includes a medieval feast prior
to the grandstand event, a parking pass and special seating just outside the
arena.
The VIP
medieval feast will be an evening of royal delights. Attendees will enjoy a
feast fit for kings while being entertained by characters and theatrical
performance in the style of the medieval ages. Dancing by the incomparable
Sarah Cosner will make you believe in the true beauty of the age, and magic
worthy of the master sages of old, but with a twist of comedy by Zoltan “the
Adequate.” There may even be a clash of steel with swords drawn before the main
competition. After enjoying the feast, attendees will have the opportunity to meet
the knights of glory who will finish the event off with a tournament of full
contact jousting.

Tickets
